fast cars are steered with incredible precision around the track by the pilots. Whoever wins gets to shower with Champagne, kiss the most wanted Grid girls and enjoy the cheers of the enthusiastic masses.
After the creation of the Motopark in Oschersleben, the Eurospeedway Lausitz and the renovation of the Sachsenring, all of which happened since the mid-90s, participants and spectators again have the joy of circuit races.
This developing potential was noticed by Marian (Mulle) Arndt from Brandenburg and in the year 2000 he founded the team ARNDT-MOTOR-SPORT (AMS) in Dahlwitz-Hoppegarten. The qualified motor vehicle engineer and his employees have been loyal to motor sport before, some of them for over 20 years in different teams up to the well-known Formel 3. The growth of the AMS-team profited heavily from those experiences as well as successful projects like the rookie competition "Search for Schumi Ost 2002", the participation in the Formel König powered by Volkswagenchampionship and the entry of two New Beetle during the German touring car challenge.
Since then the Formel team has developed into an independent p.l.c. within the AMS-businessgroup and prepares, apart from the usual appearance in the Formel König championship, the entry of two new prototypes in the Sports Car Challenge 2004. In the next step, the AMS-promotion was created to be responsible for marketing within the AMS-businessgroup. Together with able partners it accompanies the motor sport team and the heavily developing popular motor sport. The AMS motor sport service, divided into construction and the care-taking and restoration of the competition cars, is still the most important part of the business group.
The fundamental reasons for the success are the roots in our home turf. Motor sport with its fascination and its dynamism can only live up to its commercial potential when there is a connection to the land, the region and the person. Since 2003 the AMS-Förderkreis e.V. and its patrons have stressed through their activity that interest in motor sport is bigger than ever. As such, motor sport functions as an ambassador between supplier and consumer.
